I was in the Alpha and CBT sets for MS1, and I can say for certain that your "dedication" to MS1 (aka how long you've played) does not immediately entitle you to an invite to MS2's CBT. Also, the invies to the CBT for MS1 were VERY similar to MS2, without the Road Trip incentives. It was a glorified forum lottery essentially.
Did I get an invite today for MS2? Yes. Would I have been throwing a fit if I had not? Absolutely not. I would have been disappointed but I would have waited for OBT/Launch.
I can relate to the disappointment you're feeling, I really can. However Nexon does not owe You, Me, or your Neighbor anything. MS2 is a separate title. By your logic you should be automatically accepted into all of Nexon's CBT phases, for all of their games, simply because you've played one of their other titles. That's not how this works.
CBT is only going to last a week. After that I imagine the game will hit OBT with two-three weeks post CBT. If you were in MS1 CBT, or if you have any prior knowledge of it, then you'd know that the CBT sets only lasted about two weeks (mid April) following an OBT release around early May of 2005.
Take a breather and relax. You'll get into a more polished game once OBT drops and everything will be all flowers and sunshine.
