The servers will be coming down again (written as of 10:54 AM PDT). Due to an error on our part, the button to reset dungeon count was functional again despite that not being intended. As it's a grave issue and some people have reset while others have not (which is massively unfair) we'll have to look into resolving this issue. We'll update you all ASAP on this problem as soon as it's resolved.

I logged in, payed 50 euro to buy new items and them all went down...
It feels really bad, it is almost impossible not to swear -.-
The responsible people will do their job regardless of people being upset about the fact that a mistake happened. It would be more than poor management if the CMs would have to do the coding. Maybe learn something about company structure after you are already able to tell that "it ain't eaZy to fix coding".
People spend their money in order for a smooth enjoyable gaming experience in their free time. And it is to be expected of people getting upset over it if something goes wrong and if things pile up eventually leave. We live in a world of demands. If you can't deliver to a certain standard you are out and off the market.
However there are always those who vent and let of some steam and there are those who sympathizes with the developer and coder but you aren't better by trying to protect the poor coder who has to solve the mess. It doesn't change the fact that we live in a world where we are actually able to make these demands. You can compare it with a dessert you ordered but now the chef accidentally mixed up sugar with salt and because of that someone has to wait, and doesn't get their cake. But this person planned a nice cake dessert with friends and now this happened. Sure mistakes happen but it doesn't mean that the person receiving it has no right to complain about it!
All you can do is to do the best out of your time and that's probably not by complaining and by not buying the salty cake!
There's a clear line that people should never be allowed to cross (verbal abuse, threats, etc), but in regards to venting?
It's not harming anyone. I mean, I'd like to think paid professionals aren't so sensitive that they'd get upset over a few forum posts.
Personally, I think it'd be better for people to come in here and vent...
Then have them bottle up their feelings and eventually quit the game.
If someone has a legitimate problem (in this case they do, the company has admitted they screwed up), the worst thing others can do is to tell them to shut up. That makes people go away. And that's something we don't want happening in an F2P MMO in 2019.
But yeah, maybe just disable dungeons until rollover so that those of us with non-dungeon dailies (Housework, Sky Fortress, et al) can still get our stuff done?
You shouldn't punish the innocent for what the guilty have wrought.
And pretty much every single one of those games have had a number of extended maintenances, including the biggest games in the industry as well. An extended maintenance is not the same as not having a test server, or lacking a QA team. Sometimes, problems happen, which only become evident when you have some thousands of people to look at every nook and cranny of your game. We have had two extended maintenances, in this game's current lifespan, with this one being the second one.
Venting is okay! This issue was on us. We're trying to resolve the issue in as good a fashion as possible so that it's fair for as many people as possible.
Don't worry you all do a wonderful job, it's not uncommon for bugs and mistakes to happen with patches, most games have patch day bugs/mistakes. Most of the bigger games included who have had years to get it right still get it wrong occasionally.
WOW that´s the Information what we hoped on... *NOT*
can´t you tell just tell us how long you time you will do need to fix the game?!
They can't tell you how long it'll be down because they don't know how long it'll take to fix, conferring with the development team of what's the best route to take to deal with this and manage it without punishing those who did not take advantage of the mistake, and not having to punish those who did take advantage of the mistake. Patience and understanding is all that can be done.
