Hi all! Reminder that today is the last day to submit a guide for the contest. You are of course always welcome to write guides for the game, but for the purpose of this contest we will be closing submissions at 11:59:59 PM PST tonight!
Submissions for this contest are now concluded! Thank you for participating everyone, we will announce the winners next week. As stated in the opening post as well, anyone not selected will be sent 500 Red Merets as a token of our appreciation in the ongoing efforts to support our newer and returning Maplers. Thank you!
We're pleased to announce our winners for the contest! The following guides below hit all marks for being intuitive on their subject matter and easy on the eyes.
There were other guides that caught the eyes of our judges but were unable to judge as victors since they weren't submitted to the contest as per the rules. But, out of courtesy, we'll still be awarding 500 Red Merets to these guides that were submitted to the directory but didn't enter the contest (provided they reach out with their name, server, and guide link as per the original rules, so we know who to send it to). This only applies to all guides that were posted originally before the contest ended but did not enter in this thread.
There were other guides that some of our judges felt could be simplified further down, or could have added pictures to make is easier to understand. The judges had varying degrees of knowledge on the MapleStory 2 with a majority looking at the submitted entries through the lens of a newer player eager to understand various aspects of the game.
We will likely hold this event again in the future, where participants will have the opportunity to re-submit their guide and improve on it in various ways if they wish! Next time, there'll be more (quantity of winners) and different prizes!
Please give us up to a week to process everybody who participated's rewards. And once again, thank you all very much for your submissions!
